Job Description:

We are searching for a Director of Accounting to join our manufacturing team in Salisbury, North Carolina. In this role, you will be in charge of leading company-wide accounting consolidation, reporting, and treasury functions. You will also have the opportunity to oversee and develop the accounting organization within a corporate and shared services environment.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the creation, updating, and improvement of financial reporting
Handle the preparation and presentation of regular reports for review by senior management and the board
Manage timely financial close in collaboration with accounting managers and corporate accounting staff
Oversee the consolidation of financial results, ensuring familiarity with multi-currency consolidation in an ERP environment
Handle the reporting of financials to our parent company, adhering to public company timelines
Support treasury operations, including liquidity optimization and managing banking relationships
Develop and manage the Accounting organization, ensuring its growth and efficiency
Handle other duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting department

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Proven experience in leading business transformation initiatives
Solid understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
Demonstrated expertise in Month End Close procedures
Proficient in managing General Ledger activities
Experience in preparing and analyzing Consolidated Financial Statements
Knowledge and experience with Consolidated Balance Sheet preparation
Demonstrated experience in consolidations and corporate consolidation processes
Familiarity with International Accounting standards and practices
Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting principles
Proficiency in US GAAP standards and regulations
