Job Description:

To support the company's objectives as a Director of Accounting, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient at analyzing information.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
  • Partake in various department-wide initiatives
  • Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
  • Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
  • Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
  • Provide monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
  • Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
  • Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
  • Able to manage time well
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • Great attention to detail
  • Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
