Job Description:

The Director of Banquet Operations at Marriott Mena House Cairo is responsible for leading the team to ensure the highest level of service during events, managing banquet operations, and driving customer satisfaction. The role involves training and developing staff, executing event requirements, and ensuring financial and administrative responsibilities are met. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience, or a 2-year degree with 1 year of experience in a related field.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the team to accomplish daily goals
Ensure the highest level of service during events
Train and develop staff
Execute event requirements based on standards
Drive customer satisfaction
Capitalize on revenue during events
Provide clear and concise communications
Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities
Manage banquet operations
Ensure accurate customer billing
Attend pre-conference meetings
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of function spaces
Lead banquet team
Manage profitability
Ensure exceptional customer service
Conduct human resources activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
3 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
1 year experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
