Job Description:

Director of Finance is responsible for planning, directing and management of the provision of accurate, timely and objective financial data, from which management decisions can be made. He/she has to make sure that all financial records are kept inline with uniform system of accounts, as well as local requirements. Responsible for running the finance department’s operations smoothly and conform the company and brand requirements, policies & procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Planning, directing and management of the provision of accurate, timely and objective financial data
Ensuring all financial records are kept inline with uniform system of accounts and local requirements
Running the finance department’s operations smoothly and conforming to company and brand requirements, policies & procedures
Preparation of annual business plan aligned with the business strategy
Compiling annual budget, comparing budgeted figures with actual numbers and guiding General Manager to prevent deviations in profitability
Developing means to improve profitability, including cost benefits and revenue maximization
Implementing a system of appropriate controls to manage business risks

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related area
Minimum 6 years of related experience, including at least four years of managerial experience
Excellent verbal and written English skills
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations
Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Needs to have sound knowledge on business regulations, social security and payroll practices
Should have effective presentation skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP and other applicable computer systems
Must be able to define problems and to draw valid conclusions by effectively collecting and interpreting data
Should be an efficient team leader with good communication skills
