A forward-thinking Fire Consultancy is seeking a dynamic Director of Fire Engineering to lead their South West London office. This exciting senior role offers the opportunity to influence the future direction of a rapidly expanding organisation that values innovation, technical excellence, and strategic growth.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and nurture strong client relationships
Drive business development to secure new opportunities
Manage, grow, and mentor the London Fire Engineering team
Oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations
Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the team
Lead client-facing meetings with confidence and expertise
Requirements:
8+ years of experience as a Fire Engineer
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards it
Degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
6+ years of team management experience
Proficiency with FREAWs (PAS 9980)
Extensive experience in the residential and commercial sectors
Proven business development skills and experience securing new business
