Job Description:

This is a Permanent Direct Hire DIRECTOR OF IT / CIO onsite in Lincoln NE. We are looking for a TECHNICAL LEADER who can move the needle forward with a $6M Tech Budget!

Job Responsibility:

MODERNIZE TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES on a technology budget
Foster collaboration with staff, and stakeholders to identify and address technology needs
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends
Drive Solutions for the business
Lead the business operations from a Strategic & Technical standpoint

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required
Master’s degree is preferred
A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role such as Director of IT, CIO, or equivalent
Proven knowledge of enterprise IT systems, cybersecurity practices, data analytics, data governance, and cloud technology
IT Budget direct experience
Proven track record of Direct Reports and Developing Staff
Prior Infrastructure & Application Development experience – Current Technical skills with VMware, server support / Windows, O365, and SAN Storage, PLUS Networking including Cisco Switches & Routers
Data analytics and Business Intelligence Tools
Leadership Skills: Track record to lead and motivate teams, manage large-scale IT projects, and support cross-functional initiatives
“Servant” communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners
