The Director of Quality Assurance will lead the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of the organization’s quality assurance programs, ensuring that production activities—from the initial procurement of raw materials to the final product—adhere to company standards of quality, functionality, and efficiency. This leadership role will drive data-driven improvements while fostering collaboration across departments to maintain excellence in all operational processes.
Job Responsibility:
Strategically assess production systems to ensure consistent compliance with quality, integrity, and functionality requirements
Use data analysis to identify opportunities for system-wide enhancements to quality processes
Partner with leadership and production teams to establish and implement sustainable quality benchmarks
Create and roll out testing protocols that align with organizational and industry standards
Ensure clear communication and collaboration between production teams and upper management regarding quality processes
Examine quality test results, recommend adjustments, and direct corrective action plans
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes, including logs, reports, manuals, and audit pathways
Implement quality auditing practices across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation
Develop and enforce standards that meet customer expectations, and conduct training to ensure operational compliance
Introduce tools such as inline measurement gauges to improve floor-level accuracy and decision-making
Act as the liaison between internal teams and customers, communicating resolutions and quality improvement initiatives
Regularly report on quality progress and metrics to senior management and regulatory entities as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned to align with organizational needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of experience managing quality assurance systems in a production-heavy environment
Familiarity with ISO standards, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks
Excellent communication skills
Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies, regulatory requirements, and auditing techniques
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing practices and related production workflows
Remarkable organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Collaborative leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, focusing on Excel for data analysis and reporting tools
