Job Description:

This role is pivotal in our team, focusing on SEC financial reporting and technical accounting within our industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and SEC filings
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and disclosures
  • Lead the research and implementation of new accounting and reporting standards
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting
  • Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and business partners
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SEC financial reporting and technical accounting
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
  • Proven experience in managing the financial reporting process, including the preparation and review of SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
  • Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of accounting standards and financial statements
  • Ability to research, comprehend, and implement new accounting pronouncements
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Proven experience in change management and process improvement
