Job Description:

This role is pivotal in our team, focusing on SEC financial reporting and technical accounting within our industry.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and SEC filings
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and disclosures
Lead the research and implementation of new accounting and reporting standards
Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting
Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and business partners
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in SEC financial reporting and technical accounting
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable
Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
Proven experience in managing the financial reporting process, including the preparation and review of SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of accounting standards and financial statements
Ability to research, comprehend, and implement new accounting pronouncements
Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a diverse team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Proven experience in change management and process improvement
