The District Pharmacy Coordinator (DPC) plays a key role in managing the scheduling and staffing of pharmacies across a market. Responsibilities include ensuring pharmacists are scheduled efficiently, maintaining payroll submissions, supporting regulatory and operational needs, and managing vaccine clinic staffing. Proficiency in retail/corporate processes and pharmacy-specific systems, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, is required.
Job Responsibility:
Set and maintain pharmacist schedules for stores in the district, including creation and maintenance of templates, scheduling vacation coverage, and staffing contingency plans
Track pharmacist vacation balances and facilitate vacation request approvals
Partner with Rx DL for timely review of HUB/HOB use and escalations
Track and submit pharmacist payroll weekly, enter non-work time and quality-check for submission
Manage vaccine clinic scheduling, input clinics into schedules, plan coverage for clinic requests, and prevent client escalations
Support additional administrative needs, including job changes in Workday, registrations, and exception reporting audits.
Requirements:
Regular and predictable attendance is required and position may require a flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs
1+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
High School diploma or GED required
Associates degree preferred
Unless otherwise required by the Board of Pharmacy (BOP), Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification must be obtained no later than 90 days in role. State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals
Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assignment deadlines with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Physical demands as listed in the job description.
