Job Description:

The District Pharmacy Coordinator (DPC) role involves coordinating and scheduling pharmacists across the district, ensuring efficient staffing for pharmacy operations, supporting vaccine clinics, handling payroll submission, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set and maintain Pharmacist schedule for stores in the district, including creation and maintenance of Pharmacist templates, appropriate scheduling of DSPs, pharmacist vacation coverage, and the maintenance of staffing contingency plans
  • Track pharmacist vacation balances and send regular reporting, reminders, and requests to ensure pharmacists are utilizing vacation time
  • Partner appropriately to ensure any Pharmacists eligible for LOA & RA are supported and scheduled effectively
  • Track and submit pharmacist payroll weekly, in accordance with the CVS Pharmacist Payroll Administrative Guide
  • Manage vaccine clinic scheduling, including inputting clinics into the schedule three weeks in advance and revising pharmacist schedules to cover clinics
  • Support additional administrative needs at the direction of the Rx DL to support day-to-day pharmacy operations, key initiatives, pilots and ensure safe, effective, and compliant pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Unless otherwise required by the Board of Pharmacy (BOP), Pharmacy Technician Licensure/Certification must be obtained no later than 90 days in role
  • 1+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals
  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assignment deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have:

  • Pharmacy Lead Technician experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with mySchedule and Workbrain or other scheduling/time and attendance/payroll systems strongly preferred.
