Job Description:

At CVS Health, District Support Pharmacists play a critical role in cultivating excellence within pharmacies by covering shifts, overseeing pharmacy operations, delivering immunizations, maintaining compliance, and supporting patient health.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled
Overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences
Delivering immunizations to patients
Supporting effective management of pharmacy inventory
Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
Supporting access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical care
Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Ability to travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus abilities
Customer service and team orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning skills
Problem resolution skills
Physical demands including mobility, lifting, and visual acuity

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
