Job Description:

The school offers a competitive, multifaceted drama program in a bilingual and multicultural international school setting. Teachers will use modern teaching tools and facilities to nurture students' artistic talents and confidence. The role entails coordinating performances and actively participating in academic and extracurricular programming.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate and lead performances throughout the year with both internal and extended school communities
teach a multifaceted drama programme that includes appreciation, performance, lighting, backstage sound control, and stage production
nurture creativity and enthusiasm in young learners
create a successful learning environment
actively participate in academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes

Requirements:

2+ years of post-qualification experience
previous experience of teaching the IB curriculum is preferred, high potential candidates without IB experience might be considered
well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
a willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes
ideally will have experience of working in a bilingual or multicultural context, with sensitivity to the cultural differences
be committed to ensuring high standards of teaching and learning and an ability to create a successful learning environment
show accountability for each student's progress and well-being
have a commitment to reflection and improvement of personal practice
be collaborative and able to work as part of a team, with a willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes

Nice to have:

Previous experience of teaching the IB curriculum
ideally will have experience of working in a bilingual or multicultural context, with sensitivity to the cultural differences
