Job Description:

The Duty Manager will assist the Front Office Manager by supervising front office operations, ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, and maximizing departmental performance. Responsibilities include supporting the team, resolving complaints, improving service, and implementing organizational policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administering front office functions
  • Supervising staff on daily basis
  • Leading, influencing and encouraging team members
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and quality service
  • Handling guest complaints and disputes
  • Performing duties in absence of employees
  • Monitoring and supporting guest services and front desk goals
  • Participating in departmental meetings
  • Communicating critical information to the team
  • Resolving grievances and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • no work experience required.
