Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Early Years Teacher for a primary school in Dewsbury, starting April and continuing until July. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in early childhood education, fostering curiosity and a love for learning in young children.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Support children's early language, literacy, numeracy, and social development
Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and parents to support individual learning needs
Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Encourage independence, creativity, and confidence in young learners

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification
Experience teaching in an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception)
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A passion for early childhood education and a creative approach to teaching
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
