Well-established Ecommerce leader has been a leading distributor since 2008. The focus is sourcing products related to consumer electronics, home & kitchen, and power tools, with expertise in transferring knowledge and strategizing to find homes for these goods within different markets worldwide through B2B and B2C operations.
Job Responsibility:
Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform
Managing and executing promotional campaigns
Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps
Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments
Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment
Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through, and offering code performance.
Requirements:
Experience with Shopify
Familiar with building and customizing Shopify stores, including themes, apps, and integrations
Experience managing product listings, inventory, pricing, and variations in Shopify
Knowledge in setting up payment methods, taxes, shipping rates, and handling compliance issues
Experience with using Shopify’s analytics to track performance, sales trends, and customer behaviors
Proficiency in running Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other ad campaigns to drive traffic
Expertise in tools like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Shopify Email for customer engagement, nurturing, and retention
Knowledge in optimizing product pages, content, and blog posts for organic search visibility
Experience managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or Instagram Ads, and optimizing campaigns for ROI
Ability to create compelling content (videos, blog posts, and images) that engages customers and aligns with the brand’s voice
Ability to analyze website data (Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, etc.) to identify opportunities for growth and improve conversion rates
Experience conducting tests on product pages, checkout processes, and ad campaigns to optimize performance
Ability to build and optimize a sales funnel, from awareness to purchase
Understands and supports the importance of site speed and has the skill to implement optimizations
Knowledge of popular Shopify apps and plugins that improve store functionality
Ability to identify technical issues that affect store performance and resolve them
Support in explaining strategies, results, and issues in a simple, clear manner
Experience with tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com to track tasks and deadlines
Able to help define a brand’s unique value proposition and develop strategies to differentiate the store
Experience in understanding and segmenting customer behavior to tailor marketing strategies
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in the Canadian market
Strong understanding of cultural, economic, and business dynamics across Canada
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
