Job Description:

Permanent role available within Tata Steel Tubes for an experienced electrical maintenance professional. Hands-on, technical, and fast-paced job located in Hartlepool. Includes tasks such as preventative/reactive maintenance and process improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Assist the engineering team in carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance
Maintain Health, Safety & Environmental standards, ensuring safe working procedures are followed
Provide first-line technical expertise and knowledge to identify and rectify faults to minimise plant downtime
Suggest and implement improvements to process control systems in collaboration with relevant peers
Ensure high-quality work, repairing deficiencies expediently to prevent recurrence

Requirements:

Completed an electrical apprenticeship or possess a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar)
Problem-solving approach to work
Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Experience in heavy engineering manufacturing
Industrial/domestic wiring knowledge
Experience with Overhead Cranes & associated safety systems
Experience with PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley including HMIs)
Experience with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems
Experience with Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters
Interpretation of electrical drawings
Awareness of safety-related control systems
