Job Description:

The electrical engineer will ensure the maintenance and reactive tasks related to the electrical infrastructure and plant, supervise subcontractor activities, and comply with industry standards like BS7671 while producing thorough documentation and condition reports.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out routine PPM to the electrical infrastructure and plant
remediate faults and defects swiftly
ensure plant rooms remain clean and tidy
supervise subcontractors
provide engineering support in emergencies
produce Condition/Dilapidation Reports
maintain CAFM system with accurate data.

Requirements:

Ensure routine PPM is carried out to the electrical infrastructure and plant
highlight areas where improvements can be made
swiftly remedy plant faults and defects
ensure suitable spares availability
complete relevant paperwork regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works
prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for safe working practices
maintain up-to-date plant logs
supervise and monitor subcontractor works
arrange holiday and sickness cover
undertake lone working with proper training
ensure compliance to contractual KPIs/SLA's and update CAFM system
provide engineering support in emergency situations
gain Technical Appointments such as LVCP/LVAP/HVAP to issue PTW
ensure maintenance complies with BS7671
produce Condition/Dilapidation Reports
ensure immediate reporting of dangerous circumstances
respond to verbal and written requests
coordinate quotations with the contract manager
produce information for quotations.
