Job Description:

Join the leading energy provider in the country, a company at the forefront of electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for an Electrical Laboratory Manager role to oversee high-power and temperature rise testing laboratories, ensuring compliance with international standards and industry regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform high-power switching tests, short-circuit tests, and temperature rise tests according to IEC, EN, ANSI, IEEE standards, as well as national energy provider specifications
  • Conduct tests and inspections in medium- and high-voltage substations, including switchgear, power transformers, current and voltage transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and protection systems
  • Perform tests and inspections on electrical equipment in power generation stations, such as rotating electrical machines, generators, motors, power transformers, low- and medium-voltage switchgear, protections, and medium-voltage cables
  • Utilize and manage specialized Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software
  • Prepare and evaluate test result reports
  • Develop technical work instructions for testing procedures and establish uncertainty determination guidelines
  • Expand the laboratory's accreditation scope by introducing new testing capabilities
  • Draft technical specifications for the procurement of specialized laboratory equipment
  • Ensure quality assurance of testing and inspection activities in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and national accreditation body guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-power switching tests, short-duration high-current withstand tests, temperature rise tests, and high-voltage tests
  • Proven experience in testing and inspecting rotating electrical machines
  • Experience in design, construction, and inspection of low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical installations
  • Experience with electrical circuit simulation software (such as LABVIEW, MATLAB, SPICE, PowerFactory)
