Job Description:

Are you an experienced electrician looking to expand your skills? This role will see you working at Garden Island Defence Precinct ensuring naval and commercial ships are repaired and serviced to meet the quality and safety standards required.

Job Responsibility:

Isolation work with electrical systems
Completing maintenance of installed systems across vessels and installing equipment
Diagnose, repair, install and program electrical equipment and control systems
Conducting testing, commissioning and tagging of equipment
Interpret drawings, participate in audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Utilise predictive maintenance/condition monitoring techniques for continuous improvement and risk assessment

Requirements:

Electrical Trade qualification & A Class Electrical License
Well-developed fault finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Industrial electrical experience
Induction for Construction Work / White Card

Nice to have:

RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
EWP Ticket
Working at Heights Ticket
Control System and programming experience
