Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the customer communication experiences for millions of people around the world. You are passionate about empowering teams and delivering robust technical products. You aim to make a meaningful impact and remain steadfast even during challenging times.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure well-designed and resilient technical solutions
Lead diverse software engineering teams with IKEA values
Oversee budget and capacity plans to meet forecasts, deadlines, and promote continuous improvement

Requirements:

5+ years of software engineering experience with strong leadership skills, an Agile/DevOps mindset, and experience in leading through change
Experience in working in an area where collaboration with external partners is key to excel in this area with many external dependencies
Passionate about high-quality software, leading diverse teams, and embracing technology, innovation, and IKEA’s culture and values in both independent and collaborative settings
Extensive knowledge of software engineering practices, industry-standard toolsets, design and architecture concepts, and technology capabilities
Promote agile practices, lead and coach teams, actively acquire new skills, and understand the integration of technology within and outside IKEA’s business
