Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Engineering Manager located in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role involves a variety of tasks within the realm of network and security engineering, consulting services delivery, client relationship management, and service delivery management.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the execution of network architecture design, deployment, and maintenance
ensure network infrastructure's high availability, scalability, and security
address complex network issues
oversee the configuration of firewall, VPN management, and network segmentation
collaborate on the optimization of performance and security
implement automation for network monitoring, configuration management, and incident response
evaluate and deploy new networking technologies
lead the architecture, design, and development of security solutions
develop and implement security strategies, policies, and frameworks
oversee security engineering projects
collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements
manage the evaluation, selection, and deployment of security technologies
work closely with IT and Network Engineering teams
engage with clients to understand their needs
ensure client satisfaction through effective communication
collaborate with cross-functional teams
monitor service-level agreements
continuously improve service processes
work with other teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions
identify and recommend changes, upgrades, and new services
allocate resources effectively

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in IT, Security, and Network Engineering
at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
proven experience leading and managing engineering teams
extensive expertise in network architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
strong background in security architecture and engineering
experience overseeing security engineering projects
deep understanding of cloud and on-premises security strategies
proficiency in IT service management (ITSM)
demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects
experience negotiating and managing vendor relationships
experience with budget planning and financial management
excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
