Job Description:

Teachanywhere is seeking an experienced and dedicated Secondary English Teacher for an August 2025 start in Muscat, Oman. The role involves inspiring a love of literature and language, teaching English, and promoting the growth of students in a low-cost living location with excellent benefits at a UK curriculum international school.

Job Responsibility:

Inspire a love of literature and language in students
Teach English literature and communication skills
Help students unlock their potential through reading, writing, and communication
Contribute to the continuous excellence and success of the school

Requirements:

Applicants must be qualified teachers holding degree-level certification and teacher certification or equivalent
You should have at least 2 years of experience post-qualification as a minimum
Your degree and post-grad certification MUST be in English or a related subject to pass ministry regulations
Previous UK curriculum experience is preferred, and previous international experience is welcomed
Be a fully qualified and/or licensed teacher
Be able to pass police checks and background checks including references
Be a proficient English speaker
Possess good classroom management skills
Be a citizen of the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the USA or Canada (to meet visa requirements)
Remain open minded, resilient and keen to contribute to the future success of the school
