Job Description:

Secondary English Teacher position located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia starting in August 2025. The school follows the UK curriculum and values-based education, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration. Applicants will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to student academic outcomes, co-curricular enrichment, and overall growth.

Job Responsibility:

Know students as people and how they learn
Plan and deliver excellent learning and teaching
Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning and progress
Demonstrate international-mindedness and global citizenship
Engage professionally in learning and with the community

Requirements:

A relevant education degree or a PGCE or equivalent
At least 3 years of post-qualification experience
Knowledge of the English National Curriculum or Cambridge Curriculum is highly desirable
Experience working in a British curriculum international school will be an advantage
Dedicated to excellent academic outcomes and contributing to developing the whole child, so that they have the skills to succeed in learning and life
EAL (English as an Additional Language) provision
Commitment to supporting all aspects of our programme including extra-curricular activities and contribution to school community
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Knowledge of current educational issues and up to date curriculum developments
Application of effective learning and teaching strategies that attain high levels of student achievement
