Cogoport is seeking an Enterprise Sales Lead to drive company growth, manage industry verticals, lead operations and sales teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. With a focus on intrapreneurship and customer-centricity, the role offers significant opportunities in the shipping and logistics industry.
Job Responsibility:
responsible for sustaining and growing the industry vertical with P&L responsibilities
leading the sales team in initiating new accounts and managing relationships with existing ones
laying down the roadmap for new account acquisition for the industry and ensuring its execution
strategizing and executing all account-related initiatives from operational troubleshooting to activation
leading the operations team in delivering the best customer experience
managing the administration function, operational performance reporting, and streamlining processes and systems
managing the team from hiring and training new recruits to assigning targets and formulating incentive plans
Requirements:
MBA from top-tiered management institutes (IIMs, FMS, MDI, ISB etc.)
5+ years of experience in consultative sales
prior understanding of logistics, freight or supply chain industries and their capabilities
knowledge of strategic account sales techniques and processes
ability to manage long, complex sales cycles
outstanding presentation and communication skills
ability to convince prospects
strong communications and interpersonal skills
process-orientation
business acumen
Nice to have:
engineering graduates or diploma in logistics or any related discipline
experience in industries with high import and export movements such as white goods, automobiles, textiles, etc.
documentation experience
certifications in logistics, freight or supply chain industries
