Job Description:

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in the non-profit sector located in Syracuse, New York. This role will involve a variety of accounting tasks, including the routine operations of the accounts department, and the management of accounts receivable.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process accounting entries to maintain up-to-date records
Utilize accounting software systems such as Dynamics NAV and Sage Software for efficient account management
Conduct thorough account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
Handle vouchering duties to support financial transactions
Compile basic reports to present financial status and transactions
Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
Oversee accounts payable (AP) to ensure timely payments
Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document management and review
Implement ERP solutions for integrated business process management
Ensure accurate account coding to align with financial standards

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Coding
Must be familiar with Accounting Software Systems
Ability to use Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Dynamics NAV is preferred
Knowledge of ERP Solutions will be beneficial
Strong skills in Account Analysis
Capability to manage Accounting Entries
Understanding of general Accounting Functions
Experience in Account Reconciliation
Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
Proficiency in Sage Software is a plus

Nice to have:

Experience with Dynamics NAV
Knowledge of ERP Solutions
Proficiency in Sage Software
