Job Description:

We are offering a permanent contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in DES PLAINES, Illinois. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be tasked with improving the efficiency of the AP department, making it fully SharePoint accessible, and preparing it for transfer to our global team.

Job Responsibility:

Developing comprehensive step-by-step procedures for the accounts payable function
Managing the transition of the accounts payable responsibilities to our global team and serving as the primary liaison
Assisting in the accounting activity post-transition, including accounts payable/accounts receivable reconciliation
Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Collaborating with the warehouse and purchasing teams for inventory tracking
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures
Preparing accruals and handling intercompany billing
Managing assets and overseeing payroll procedures
Assisting in tax-related activities and other accounting functions associated with the entity

Requirements:

Strong preference of ACCOUNTING DEGREE
Knowledge of CRM
Understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
Skills in Auditing
Familiarity with Budget Processes
Knowledge in Capital Management
