Job Description:

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive provides nationwide mobile fleet maintenance and repair services for light medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role involves signing up for FleeTec Academy, a paid educational program that transitions into a full-time Diesel Technician position. The program includes 4 weeks of classroom training (with travel expenses covered), hands-on mentorship, and real pay rates to build a career as a mobile mechanic.

Job Responsibility:

Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs onsite at customers' locations
Keep fleet vehicles running efficiently
Participate in further classroom education and hands-on training for continuous skill development
Gain technical expertise on fundamentals of Diesel Engines through FleeTec Academy program

Requirements:

Desire to start a career as a Diesel Technician and become one of our Mobile Mechanics
Willingness and ability to study hard
Dedicate 4 weeks away from home to be with us
Maturity level to focus on the task at hand
Technical aptitude and a passion for fixing vehicles
Ability to operate iPad
Must be 21 to drive one of our trucks
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education is preferred, but not required
We conduct background checks, driving records checks, pre-employment drug testing and physical
