Robert Half is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join a dynamic and growing team for one of our clients in Delaware. This position is perfect for candidates with a passion for finance, strong analytical skills, and a desire for detail oriented growth within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. As an Entry-Level Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and decision-making for the organization. You will work closely with senior analysts, finance managers, and other departments to provide accurate data and insights that drive business success. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity and will be on site in Delaware.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business decisions
Analyze financial performance by reviewing cost, revenue, and expense data to identify trends and variances
Perform data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of various financial strategies
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance commentary
Prepare and maintain financial models to evaluate business opportunities and risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data for financial reports
Research market trends, economic conditions, and competitors to contribute to financial strategy development
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Assist with special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Internship experience in finance or accounting (preferred but not required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with financial modeling tools
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial concepts clearly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance profession
Nice to have:
Internship experience in finance or accounting
