Job Description:

Our client is a Professional Service Provider who is looking for a Research Analyst to join their market research team in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibility:

Assist Bankers with Marketing Collateral: Provide essential support to bankers by designing and producing engaging product presentations and marketing materials that highlight key features and benefits
Conduct In-Depth Research: Carry out thorough research initiatives that encompass a variety of elements, including comprehensive company analyses, relevant market data, current industry trends, and significant corporate events to inform strategic decisions
Utilize Research Expertise for Process Improvement: Apply specialized knowledge in research methodologies to identify areas for enhancement within the research process, aiming to boost overall efficiency and effectiveness
Develop Innovative Research Solutions: Create and implement new strategies and tools that streamline research activities, ensuring that the research team operates at peak performance
Facilitate Effective Collaboration: Actively engage with bankers in the Investment Banking Division (IBD) and other teams to foster communication, ensuring that research efforts are aligned with the needs of various stakeholders
Enhance Operational Efficiency: Work towards improving operational workflows by coordinating efforts across teams, thereby increasing productivity and facilitating smoother processes

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant Field: Hold a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Finance, Economics, or other business-related disciplines
Professional Experience in Finance: Preferably possess at least three years of professional experience within the finance industry, demonstrating a solid business background
Familiarity with Financial Databases: Have knowledge of various financial databases such as Bloomberg, Factiva, Wisesearch, ISI Emerging Markets, Datastream, Refinitiv, Thomson One, S&P Capital IQ, and FactSet, which is considered an asset
Strong Client Service and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent client servicing abilities and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues
Proficient in English and Chinese: Demonstrate a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese to facilitate communication in a bilingual environment
