Job Description:

Our client, an esteemed law firm in Chicago, is seeking a qualified and experienced Estate Attorney to join their team of dedicated professionals. This is a remarkable direct-hire opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about estate planning, and who is looking to take their career to the next level.

Job Responsibility:

Advise and assist clients with estate planning and wealth management
Organize and build sound estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, power of attorney, and healthcare directives
Handle probate and trust administration, including probate court filings and tax returns
Maintain professional relationships with clients while understanding their goals and needs
Navigate complex tax laws applicable to estates and trusts
Continually keep updated with the latest legal changes and advancements in estate law, tax laws, and financial industry to ensure the relevance of advice given to the clients

Requirements:

Qualified and experienced Estate Attorney
Passionate about estate planning
Knowledge of estate planning and wealth management
Ability to draft wills, trusts, power of attorney, and healthcare directives
Experience in probate and trust administration, including probate court filings and tax returns
Strong client relationship management skills
Understanding of complex tax laws applicable to estates and trusts
Continual updating of knowledge on legal changes and advancements in estate law, tax laws, and financial industry
