Job Description:

Responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinating with Sales, property departments, and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases. Ensures seamless turnover from sales to service and maximizes revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare event documentation
coordinate with Sales, property departments, and customers
ensure seamless turnover from sales to service
manage group room blocks and meeting space
identify operational challenges
act as liaison between salesperson and customer
deliver exceptional customer service
lead event management teams
support sales and marketing functions
conduct human resources activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
1–2 years of experience in event management or related professional area
OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
at least 1 year experience in event management or related professional area

Nice to have:

Experience in up-selling products and services
ability to integrate current trends in event management and event design
working knowledge of catering and event management systems
understanding of standards and procedures for meeting room and table set-ups
