Job Description:

As the nation's leading health solutions company, CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director for Data Science to lead innovative healthcare analytic solutions, develop high-performing teams, and drive impactful results leveraging cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop healthcare business-focused reporting and analytic roadmap and execute with speed and accuracy
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of data analytic professionals and BI developers
  • Engage with and develop end-to-end analytic solutions around patient engagement, experience, clinical, quality, provider and condition-related analytics
  • Lead the team through design, development, and deployment of new functionality
  • Innovation and ideation around new areas of data-driven impact around medical cost and patient experience
  • Work closely with other development teams to create the platform vision and evolve the product roadmap
  • Set appropriate project backlogs and manage ongoing changes
  • Monitor the evolving market landscape and make strategic recommendations to drive innovation and business impact.

Requirements:

  • Domain expertise and demonstrated experience in developing and operating innovative healthcare analytic solutions utilizing member, claims, clinical and provider data
  • 10+ years working with Healthcare Payer or provider operational or clinical data and analytics
  • A first principles mindset to drive and lead analytics engagements
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with analytic and reporting tools in a big data or cloud environment
  • Strong knowledge of data and business intelligence in Azure
  • Demonstrated success with managing multiple product life cycles or projects
  • Experience in driving and achieving operational excellence and delivering results
  • Excellent leadership skills, mentoring skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Master's degree required
  • US work authorization.
