Job Description:

As the nation's leading health solutions company, CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director for Data Science to lead innovative healthcare analytic solutions, develop high-performing teams, and drive impactful results leveraging cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Develop healthcare business-focused reporting and analytic roadmap and execute with speed and accuracy
Manage and develop a high-performing team of data analytic professionals and BI developers
Engage with and develop end-to-end analytic solutions around patient engagement, experience, clinical, quality, provider and condition-related analytics
Lead the team through design, development, and deployment of new functionality
Innovation and ideation around new areas of data-driven impact around medical cost and patient experience
Work closely with other development teams to create the platform vision and evolve the product roadmap
Set appropriate project backlogs and manage ongoing changes
Monitor the evolving market landscape and make strategic recommendations to drive innovation and business impact.

Requirements:

Domain expertise and demonstrated experience in developing and operating innovative healthcare analytic solutions utilizing member, claims, clinical and provider data
10+ years working with Healthcare Payer or provider operational or clinical data and analytics
A first principles mindset to drive and lead analytics engagements
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with analytic and reporting tools in a big data or cloud environment
Strong knowledge of data and business intelligence in Azure
Demonstrated success with managing multiple product life cycles or projects
Experience in driving and achieving operational excellence and delivering results
Excellent leadership skills, mentoring skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Master's degree required
US work authorization.
