Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Professional to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. The position involves managing multiple commodities, working closely with suppliers and category managers in both the UK and internationally, along with exposure to large-scale projects and involvement in multiple facilities. This role is ideal for someone analytical and proactive, seeking long-term career opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Manage procurement activities across multiple commodities, ensuring cost efficiency and timely supply
develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve cost and payment issues
utilize SAP S/4HANA and Workday for procurement operations and reporting
perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel to support procurement decisions
prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings
operate effectively in a highly dynamic, aftermarket environment, responding to changing priorities

Requirements:

Procurement or purchasing experience within manufacturing, food, clothing, or any structured purchasing environment
strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and formulas
analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data and make informed procurement decisions
highly adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA
experience with Workday
ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare reports and presentations
