Job Description:

We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team based in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be expected to deliver excellent work product, showcasing your strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Job Responsibility:

Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
Utilize your skills in Civil Litigation and Family Law to navigate complex legal scenarios
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation
Practice analytical reasoning to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents
Collaborate within a team setting to ensure efficient case management
Engage in Motion Practice to advance the proceedings of a case
Provide professional legal counsel to clients on family law matters
Prepare and file family law court forms in compliance with California legal standards
Engage with clients and other legal professionals, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

Possession of a valid and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of two years of professional experience as an attorney or lawyer
Demonstrated skills in Civil Litigation and Family Law
Proficiency in drafting legal pleadings and motions
Strong analytical reasoning abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and upholding ethical standards of the profession
Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve disputes amicably
Ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients
Proficiency in using legal software for case management
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with changes in laws and regulations.
