Job Description:

A boutique law firm in Seattle is looking to add a Family Law Attorney to their team. This position requires 1+ YOE in Family Law practicing in King County or Snohomish County. Firm offers excellent compensation, low billable goal, and remote work options.

Job Responsibility:

Manage case strategy and litigation in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties
Coordinate competing deadlines and communicate with varied stakeholders
Argue cases and take hearings before a court of law
Conduct detailed legal research and advise clients
Be highly responsive to internal and external stakeholders
Prepare for mediations, trials, depositions, hearings, and negotiations
Manage a team of paralegals and support staff
Manage high volumes of tasks and projects
React with urgency to situations requiring quick response

Requirements:

1+ years’ experience in Family Law litigation in Washington State
Washington Bar admission in good standing
Experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with the Clio practice management ecosystem
Experience managing a high volume of requests and competing deadlines
Strong desire and aptitude for process improvements
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience collaborating with a decentralized organization on Microsoft Teams
