We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with a proven track record in New York divorce litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to take on sophisticated, high-stakes divorce and family law cases in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Independently Manage Cases: Handle a full caseload of complex divorce, custody, and financial disputes from consultation through trial or settlement
Lead Litigation & Negotiation: Appear in court, argue motions, conduct depositions, and employ advanced negotiation tactics to achieve optimal results
Client Advocacy & Relationship Building: Serve as the primary legal strategist, maintaining open communication and setting realistic expectations throughout the process
Strategic Firm Growth: Contribute to the firm’s continued expansion by building client and referral networks
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active New York State Bar membership in good standing
5+ years of family law/divorce litigation experience in New York
Proven courtroom proficiency, including trials or high-level motion practice
Strong client-management skills, with the ability to navigate emotionally charged situations effectively
