Job Description:

We are working with a prominent family law firm in Southern California with multiple offices, known for handling high-profile divorces. Passionate about family law, they are in a significant growth phase and are seeking a tech-savvy, client-focused Paralegal experienced in family law to join their team.

Job Responsibility:

Screening clients, calendaring, and handling discovery
Conducting legal research and gathering relevant case information
Preparing legal documents like pleadings, motions and affidavits
Organizing and maintaining client files and case documents
Scheduling client meetings and court appearances
Communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel
Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
Attending court hearings and assisting attorneys during proceedings

Requirements:

3+ years of California Family Law experience
Ability to bill time under the B& P code in CA
