Job Description:

The Field Construction Manager is responsible for achieving financial objectives, ensuring quality control, complying with legal and company requirements, improving construction process efficiency, and contributing to team efforts. The role involves managing staff, maintaining professional knowledge, and ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

Job Responsibility:

Achieves financial objectives by assisting with selecting and bidding to qualified contractors
Assures company quality control expectations are met by completing pre-construction, interim, and final inspections
Complies with legal and company requirements by enforcing building codes
Improves efficiency of construction process by evaluating construction documents, policies and procedures
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as deemed necessary by Facilities Director
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees
Maintains staff job results by training coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Five years of experience or more preferred, including minimum of two years of management responsibility
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred
