Job Description:

NextGear, a Cox Automotive Brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive for northern New Jersey. Responsible for developing business in a defined territory, achieving targets in applications, activations, monthly revenue, and ancillary product sales. Builds and manages relationships with auction managers and portfolio managers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Educate customers on all products and services that NextGear Capital offers
  • gain general knowledge of all Cox Automotive products and make recommendations to clients
  • develop an aggressive sales plan within a defined market
  • build a prospect list through effective cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals
  • conduct cold calls each week to solicit new relationships
  • follow up on all leads provided daily
  • increase overall loan volume and utilization through service calls to existing customers
  • visit assigned inactive dealers to re-engage clients
  • hit target performance metrics in new applications, loan development, and new business
  • perform initial underwriting of potential customers
  • monitor applications
  • manage customer experience through the first six months
  • hit target levels for enrollments and ancillary product sales
  • develop strong relationships with portfolio managers
  • conduct non-sale visits with auction general managers
  • increase business opportunities at auctions through relationship building

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field
  • valid driver’s license required
  • 5 years of experience in outside sales and portfolio management
  • 3+ years experience in finance or auto industry
  • sales management skills
  • comfortable in a high-pressure, results-driven, and fast-paced work environment
  • ability to learn company operating and reporting systems plus Microsoft SalesForce
