Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low voltage cabling, break/fix services, and remote imaging. The Field Technician will be responsible for on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various hardware and network components.

Job Responsibility:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling, including CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optics
Perform break/fix services for hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
Execute remote imaging and deployment of operating systems and applications to client devices
Provide on-site technical support and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime
Conduct site surveys and assess requirements for cabling and hardware installations
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems
Educate end-users on proper use and maintenance of equipment
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures during all field operations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of low voltage cabling installation and standards
Proficiency in break/fix services for a variety of hardware components
Experience with remote imaging tools and techniques
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
