Job Description:

The Ledger Standardization Lead Analyst will help drive the definition and implementation of ledger standards across Citi’s Books and Records infrastructure. This is critical to leading Citi’s Finance Transformation priorities deliverables as it relates to Ledger Standardization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance related to the Chart of Accounts for the Strategic Ledger
  • Evaluate key components of Citi’s Ledger Code Block
  • Ensure the usage of consistent ledger standards and hierarchies across Finance for books and records, infrastructure, and reporting
  • Develop and implement a governance process and controls to monitor ledger standard compliance including key metrics and dashboards
  • Partner closely with Corporate Reporting, Controllers, Technology, Accounting Policy, Treasury, Tax, Operations, CSDO
  • Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations
  • Acts as a technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Accounting / MBA preferred
  • Strong background in one or more areas of Finance preferred
  • Strong understanding of Citi Finance infrastructure
  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting and Project/Program Management in the financial services industry is preferred
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in absence of detailed instructions
  • Process reengineering and change management preferred
  • Program/project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
