Job Description:

This is a rare opportunity to join a friendly Finance Team working in beautiful offices in Central Canterbury, even rarer is that free parking is also on offer! Alternatively, the offices are also within walking distance from the Train stations, as well as all of the lovely Canterbury shops and restaurants to enjoy in your lunch break. As well as beautiful offices, our client also provide free lunch each and every day - you can chose from a lovely hot gourmet meal, or a healthy lunch from the salad bar, such a treat!

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the Finance Team with daily Banking duties
Posting income and expenditure onto the general ledger
Bank and petty cash reconciliations
Reconciliation of intercompany and other general ledger accounts
Preparation of prepayment and accruals journals
Raising bank payments ready for approval
Assisting with purchase ledger
Other accounting duties within the Finance Team
Any other tasks as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Finance related role
AAT qualifications or studying towards (not essential)
Excellent attention to detail
Experience using either Sage, SAP, or Excel
The ability to start a new role immediately and commit to a temporary position on an ongoing basis
