Job Description:

The Finance Business Partner is crucial in connecting the finance department with business operations. This is a pivotal role leading a team of 3 and interacting closely with all parts of the business. Key responsibilities include producing board-level reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, driving business outcomes through financial insights, and ensuring financial information accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

Lead a growing team of 3
Produce full, accurate, insightful, and timely board reporting for sign-off
Consistent and timely reporting to Joint Ventures
Calculate deferred calculations for ex-owners with projections
Use financial insights to drive business outcomes
Ensure control and clear process for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Manage effective communication with Business Support Managers, including leading monthly performance meetings
Support budgeting and reforecasting processes, bridging Finance and Operations
Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

Experience in leading a high-functioning team
Ability to motivate and develop junior team members
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Strong self-organisation and prioritisation skills
IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
Driven and innovative, always looking to improve processes and ways of working
Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial staff
Excellent attention to detail
