Job Description:

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity in Cartersville, Georgia, for a Finance Director. The role centers around managing accounting functions, utilizing accounting software systems, and ensuring compliance in the finance industry.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the management and coordination of all accounting functions
Oversee the application and efficient use of accounting software systems
Ensure strict adherence to financial compliance and regulatory standards
Monitor and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Address and resolve any finance-related inquiries and issues
Review customer credit applications and process them efficiently
Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure financial accuracy
Develop financial strategies and implement them effectively
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes
Participate in financial meetings and provide insightful contributions

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in overseeing accounting functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Skilled in using various accounting software systems for effective financial management
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
advanced degree or detail-oriented finance certification is preferred
Robust leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a finance team
Excellent strategic planning skills and the ability to interact with all levels of end-users and technical resources
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate financial information to non-financial colleagues
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound recommendations based on financial analysis
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required
