Job Description:

While we're keeping our client's identity under wraps for now, we can assure you that they are engaged in remarkable projects that are shaping the industry.

Job Responsibility:

Process and check company accounts with precision
Oversee the control of debtors and creditors
Prepare month-end management accounts
Assist the Operations Director with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
Manage data uploads to the online group platform
Handle pension contributions and related administration
Authorise and make payments efficiently
Manage monthly payroll using Sage Payroll
Engage with banks for necessary transactions and authorisations
Ensure compliance with VAT deadlines
Oversee commercial and fleet insurance
Serve as the main point of contact for HR issues, liaising with third-party HR assistance

Requirements:

Experience with Sage Payroll and Sage 50 accounts (desirable)
Advanced Excel skills with confidence in report creation
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Self-starter who can work independently and maintain confidentiality
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong time management skills to meet strict deadlines
Customer-focused with a strong commercial awareness
Team-oriented with a commitment to company values and goals
