Job Description:

We are working with a well known environmental organisation in their search for a Finance Specialist. This is a fully remote, 6 month FTC maternity cover, with their offices being based in Central London. This role is looking to pay a salary up to £40,000 for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

Provide finance related support to Europe team
Respond to, route, or resolve inquiries
Receive, organise, and key invoices from a variety of sources into the Accounts Payable system
Close out the reconciling items from the balance sheet
Prepare journal entries
Assist and maintain contract files

Requirements:

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination
Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations
Experience using automated accounting systems
Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis
Technical experience with spreadsheet programs, general ledger reports and financial management tools
