Job Description:

Immediate start within a small team in the inner-northern suburbs of Brisbane. An established organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary full-time basis (with potential for a permanent role). This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment while assisting with key financial functions.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the full accounting function, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and end-of-month/end-of-year processes
Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly IAS, BAS, and ATO lodgements
Oversee payroll functions and ensure accurate reporting and compliance
Work closely with the Financial Controller to support financial operations

Requirements:

CA or CPA qualification (required)
Prior experience in a similar role with full-function accounting responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance requirements
Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic office environment

Nice to have:
