Job Description:

The Financial Analyst (FA) program at Citi offers two one-year rotations with opportunities to work in various Finance disciplines such as Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Investor Relations, Capital Planning, Strategy, and M&A. The program aims to broaden skill sets, develop analytical skills, increase knowledge in different disciplines, build professional networks, and leadership capabilities. Upon successful completion, FAs are considered for off-program placements in Citi Finance according to performance.

Job Responsibility:

Product control
Financial closings and consolidations
Developing financial controls
Management reporting
Planning and analysis
Management of balance sheets and liquidity

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar (graduating between June 2023 - June 2025)
Master’s degree is a plus
Valid Costa Rica work authorization
Bilingual Spanish and English (Advanced English level)
Creative in solving problems and intellectually curious
Strategic and analytical mindset with a global perspective and excellent judgment
Willingness to take initiative and offer creative solutions
Strong desire for international exposure/assignments and new business challenges at regular intervals
Resiliency to work in an environment of change and competition
Committed to excellence with a sense of urgency and excitement
Technologically proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships

Nice to have:

Master’s degree
Strong desire for international exposure/assignments and new business challenges at regular intervals
