Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to oversee financial management, budgeting, accounting, and payroll processes. The role involves managing financial documents, conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and supervising finance and HR departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with leadership to establish facility goals and priorities focusing on financial management, budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and payroll
  • Manage the preparation of key financial documents, including financial statements, monthly reports, annual budgets, and comprehensive annual reports
  • Conduct internal audits and evaluate accounting and administrative controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate and compile materials required for client or external audits and financial reporting initiatives
  • Ensure strict compliance with all terms outlined in the management contract
  • Liaise with the Risk Management Department and insurance brokers to maintain appropriate and comprehensive coverage
  • Review and assess contracts related to clients, events, subcontractors, food and beverage vendors, and concessionaires
  • Handle approval and execution of checks and deposits while monitoring daily cash flow activities
  • Oversee the procurement of capital assets, office supplies, and facility resources efficiently
  • Analyze the financial performance of departments and conduct cost analyses to determine fiscal health
  • Provide direct supervision to the Finance, Box Office, and Human Resources Departments, including responsibilities such as hiring, training, and performance management
  • Act as the Manager on Duty when required to support operational needs

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software systems
  • Experience with ADP Financial Services is expected
  • Familiarity with BlackLine financial software is essential
  • Proficiency in Concur software for expense management is required
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and their applications
  • Comprehensive understanding of core accounting functions is mandatory
  • Hands-on experience managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
  • Expertise in auditing procedures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes, including creation and adjustment, is necessary
  • Proven ability to streamline Month-End Close procedures and improve department efficiency
