Job Description:

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Systems Analyst to join our client for a 2-year contract. This role will play a crucial role in supporting our client during a complex system implementation by backfilling a key member of their financial systems team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant project and gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and update accounting and finance master data within the client's financial systems
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all master data domains
Develop and implement master data governance procedures and best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve master data issues and discrepancies
Perform data cleansing and validation activities
Gather and document business requirements related to financial systems and processes
Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement
Assist in the development and testing of system configurations and enhancements
Provide support to end-users during system implementation and post-implementation
Create and maintain process documentation and training materials
Generate reports and perform data analysis for various stakeholders
Participate in testing and validation of system changes
Provide support to the project team during the system implementation lifecycle
Assist with data migration and cutover activities
Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless system integration

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial systems analysis or a related role
Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
Proven experience with master data management concepts and practices
Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is highly desirable
Strong preference for experience with Lawson ERP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience in remote work environments
